LEARNING OUTCOME SUMMARY
Students will be able to: Identify how to manipulate fabric, identify how different fabric behave and react, learn one fabric manipulation, learn how to observe an object and give feedback, work in a group, learn the basics of how to thread a needle and hand stitching.

Get the learners to introduce themselves. Make the objectives know to the learner. To introduce yourself and the aim of objective / Ice breaker (to ask about the learner if they know anything about the topic or object (Fan). To also share the house keeping and safety rules 1 min for the to observe the object through the five senses (Feedback) Pass them fans around the class and tell them to think of the five senses while observing the object. Talk about the history of the Ghanaian fan, the fabric-wax cotton, is usually an African print and Kente fabric. Used in the farmers market, homes, weddings. 1 min to talk to their peers about the object (feedback)

Use the fan as source of inspiration. ASSESSMENT METHODS
Observing the student to explore the object and practicing the tuck and pleat fabric manipulation. Students to think about while doing the task. Learning the five basic human senses: touch, sight, hearing, smell, and taste. Through picking their fabric.
